Water Ward Medallion
In Peter V. Brett's The Demon Cycle, the origins of the magical Ward symbols have been lost to history, but their power was rediscovered after the demon corelings returned to plague the surface of the world. The Ward symbols themselves have no power, but when they are infused with core magic siphoned from a demon, the ward will repurpose that magic to repel the creature. Most Ward symbols are defensive in nature, but a handful can achieve other magical effects including offensive Wards which can actually harm Demons.
The Water Ward is a defensive symbol used to protect the wearer against Water Demons or Lake Demons. Water demons live in lakes and attack swimmers and ships that sail at night.
Details: The Water Ward medallion is solid sterling silver and measures 27.8 mm long, 24.8 mm at the widest point, and 2 mm thick. The ward pendant weighs approximately 4.3 grams. The back of the pendant is textured and stamped with our makers mark, copyright, and metal content.
Finishing Options: Antiqued Sterling Silver or Polished Sterling Silver.
Chain Options: 24" long stainless steel curb chain, 24" long black leather cord (additional $5.00), or 20" 1.2 mm sterling silver box chain (additional $25.00). Additional chains are available on our accessories page.
